Yayasan Tenaga Nasional Scholarship (Master and PhD) 2013

Yayasan Tenaga Nasional Scholarship (Master and Ph.D) 2013 is offered to Malaysian citizens who are qualified to apply for scholarships for Master and PhD Programmes at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) for academic year 2013.

Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (YTN), which was established as a trust body for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) continues to ensure that the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and efforts are met through scholarships and study loans to deserving students. This is a direct contribution towards the development of professional manpower for the country and TNB.

Preferred Disciplines:
Master: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting (ACCA).
Ph.D: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen;
Age not exceeding 30 years (Master) and 35 years (PhD) in 2013;
Active in extra-curricular activities;
Have good personality and leadership characteristics;
No siblings who are currently receiving YTN scholarship;
For Master programme, applicant must pass a Bachelor's Degree with at least CGPA 3:33 or equivalent;
While for PhD programme, applicant must have passed Bachelor's Degree with a minimum CGPA 3.75 or first class / Pass Master degree with a CGPA of at least 3:33 or equivalent;
Full time student;
Not working;
Not sponsored by any other organization.
