Tunku Abdul Rahman Study Endowment (BPTAR) is reserved for students from poor families to cover the cost of living for two (2) semesters while pursuing a full time Bachelor's Degree at Public Higher Educational Institutions (IPTA).

Amount of Assistance and Payment Method:
The amount of aid and the number of recipients will be determined by the YTAR Board of Trustees and channeled through the IPTA Office of Student Affairs.
Verification of Family Income:
Related information of the family income must be verified by Sub-district Chief (or equivalent) or Head of Department (Employer of parent / guardian) who knows the family well.
Application:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Malaysian citizen;
- A registered full-time student in any Bachelor Degree at IPTA;
- Comes from a poor family background;
- PTPTN borrowers also eligible to apply.
