KEN Foundation Scholarship Awards 2014

KEN Foundation Scholarship Awards is a corporate social responsibility of KEN Holdings Berhad by providing financial assistance to deserving Malaysian students. With the value of scholarship up to RM8,000 per academic year, their policy does not seek academic excellence but is most concerned in assisting needy and able Malaysian students.

By helping students with KEN Foundation scholarship, they believe could groom even more capable Malaysians for the future and offer them greater options in life.

This scholarship is applicable for the following discipline of studies:
  • Civil Engineering;
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering;
  • Building Surveying;
  • Property Management / Building Management;
  • Quantity Surveying;
  • Architecture;
  • Business Administration / Marketing / Communication / Accounting;
  • Information and Communication Technology / Computing;
  • Hotel Management / Hospitality Management / Culinary Arts;
  • Human Resource Management / Psychology.

KEN Foundation National Scholarship Awards for Full-time Undergraduate Degree

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Malaysian citizen;
  • Must be a full-time student between 18-23 years old;
  • Open to undergraduates and for first degree only;
  • Low income family (combine level of income not exceeding RM36,000 per annum);
  • Students who possess reasonably good results and have successfully been offered a course (as defined in the field of study above) at any local universities;
  • Must not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or rewards from other educational institutions, organizations or foundations.

How To Apply:
  • Download KEN Foundation Scholarship Application Form 2014;
  • Apart from the application form, applicant must attach the following documents as well:
    • Recent passport-sized photo;
    • One (1) copy of the application form;
    • Copy of applicant’s Identification Card (front and back);
    • Copy of the applicant’s University acceptance letter*;
    • Copy of latest Income Tax Return, EA Form, Borang B, payslips of parents/guardian(s) and siblings (if any)*;
    • Copies of academic results, certificates and transcripts*;
    • Copy of the applicant’s academic awards / achievements and participation in co-curricular activities;
  • Completed application form and all related documents can be posted or emailed to the following address:

  • All applications must reach their office latest by 18 July 2014;
  • Only short-listed applications will be notified and invited for an interview and/or test;
  • Applications received after the above closing dates or not in accordance with the above procedures / conditions or not properly completed will not be considered;
  • A bond period is attached to the scholarship.
*Applicants need to produce original copies during the interview should he or she been shortlisted.
